Amanda is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#142462) with experience working with adults, teens, and children in community mental health, school-based, and private practice settings. Amanda is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) and uses an integrative, flexible, and person-centered approach. She welcomes clients navigating life-transitions, complex relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, and loss.
I see therapy as a place where you can slow down, reflect, and feel supported as you navigate whatever life is bringing your way. Life’s challenges—whether rooted in relationships, emotional pain, or uncertainty about what comes next—can leave you feeling stuck or disconnected. My goal is to create a space where we can explore your experiences with curiosity and care, helping you reconnect with your strengths and values. Together, we work toward greater insight, self-compassion, and a sense of meaning that feels authentic to you.
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with children, teens, and adults in community mental health, school-based, and private practice settings. Working across these settings has shaped my belief that healing looks different for everyone and must be approached with flexibility, curiosity, and compassion. I particularly enjoy working with young adults and individuals experiencing life transitions, as these periods often invite both deep reflection and meaningful growth.
My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in attachment-based, cognitive behavioral (CBT), person-centered, and trauma-informed practices. I tailor therapy to each individual, combining reflection with practical tools to explore patterns, build coping skills, and gently address the impact of past experiences. My style is warm, genuine, and supportive, while also encouraging meaningful change.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right fit really matters. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to show up as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you, and where we can share moments of humor along the way. I’d be honored to support you as you move toward healing and growth.
